A beautiful Bordeaux Blanc made primarily from Sauvignon Blanc (92%) and Semillon (8%). The vineyards cover just over 3 and a half hectares and are 20 years of age. Grapes are hand-picked and yield is cropped at 50 hl/ha. The varieties are fermented separately with 15% vinified in French oak and the remainder in stainless steel. The wine is aged in the respective vessels for 4 months on fine lees, with regular stirring to build mouthfeel and complexity.
The 2020 has had several years in bottle, which has filled out the palate and allowed the character of Semillon to come forward.
